To work from home?

My organisation is totally flexible with WFH. We tell the boss we want to WFH and all is fine.

Tomorrow, I was supposed to be leading an external meeting and then WFH afterwards. Someone at the organisation I was going to has tested positive for Covid, so the meeting is off. WIBU to still work from home or would I look like a piss taker? Most other colleagues, apart from a few work from the office.

Why would it look like your were taking the piss if your company is flexible and your boss is fine with you working from home?
I don't see the issue.

@Anycolourwilldo I suffer from massive anxiety and often just need someone to push me into thinking what i'm thinking is OK.

Thanks for your reply :)

I'm sorry. Hope you're ok. Honestly - it sounds fine to me. (From one home worker to another!)

I'm meant to be in the office tomorrow - I go in mainly to see my boss.

He's ill tomorrow, so I'm not going in.

Totally clear conscience here!!

Thank you both for your replies. I do feel like I'm taking the piss a bit working from home even though I'm working at full capacity but I'm glad of it today as I'm flooding through endometriosis. It's horrible. At least I can use the shower here at home. My boss hasn't emailed back yet though. Hope he doesn't think I'm taking the piss.
