Lighthearted, non issue thread but...

Did anyone watch the Loose Women interview with Joan Collins? The technology was so bad, it kept cutting out and the presenters and Joan were talking over each other at the same time. It really was painful. Also noticing newsreaders interrupting and talking over people they are interviewing virtually a lot more, constantly cutting them off mid sentence.

It makes me wince every time, it's so uncomfortable to watch! Is it just me?

YANBU, it is annoying when people do that.

But YABU to watch Loose Women. It's utter shite, and should have been consigned to the history book about half a decade ago!

history books ! (not book!)

I didn’t see it but I am often surprised that news channels will give interviews through Skype or equivalent and the quality is so, so poor and choppy and pixelated it’s not even worth it. I know technology isn’t always reliable but I don’t understand why they still insist on using it knowing this (I should point out this was also pre-covid, so it’s not like they were “forced” to use).

@LittleDandelionClock I have to agree. I don't consciously watch it but it tends to just be on when I'm having my lunch. Utter crap and some awful, self indulgent presenters on there who still think they are oh so relevant.

Same with newsreaders who obviously are working within strict time controls but the way they interrupt people mid flow is very abrupt and just so painful to watch.
