To ask if they are safe to eat?

Sorry not really an AIBU but Google isn't really helping me with this!

I bought frozen pizzas on Friday and absentmindedly put them in the fridge when I got hone instead of the freezer. That's where they've been since Friday. Are they safe to cook and eat? I'm wondering if the fact they've been refrigerated is enough? Confused

Well I'd eat them. I can't get pizzas in my freezer so if and when we do have them, they could be in the fridge for at least 3/4 days 😬 never been unwell due to it.

Thank you! I'm just terrified of poisoning myself and dc 🙈

I think they'll be absolutely fine. The things you have to worry about most with food poisoning are raw meat, fish and shellfish. Bread dough, grated cheese, tomato sauce and whatever else is on top of the pizza should all be fine. If you'd bought them chilled on Friday rather than frozen and kept them in the fridge since, you wouldn't be thinking twice about this.

There's no meat on them so should be fine! Thank you for your reassurances.

They'll be fine, pizza toppings are pre-cooked.

I do it all the time as son likes a specific pizza from a shop I dont go to often so get a few and struggle to get them in my freezer. Always put one in the fridge and use within 2 days.

I’d use them - if they were frozen when you bought them they’ll be fine in the fridge for a couple of days.
