I had a panic attack at work today. I suddenly felt so overwhelmed. I feel so useless 😢

I'm so sorry- I am sure you're not useless at all. Do you feel better now? Do you know what triggered it or did it come out of the blue? Do you want to talk about it?

How do you feel now? Did anything trigger it that you know of?

Frazzledd · 22/10/2021 20:11

Xpost @Funnylittlefloozie - we seem to know our panic attacks....

@Funnylittlefloozie I shielded through the pandemic and I work in a supermarket, it was really busy and I feel so scared of covid with cases rising again. I also had my cancer check up a couple of weeks ago and although it went well I go over everything in my head and trigger bad memories.

Completely understandable to feel this way after a cancer check up it can trigger all sorts of different emotions.
Take care OP and be kind to yourself 💐

You aren’t useless OP. This is so so normal. Your body is reacting in the way it thinks it should. You go in to fight or flight mode at a perceived threat. It’s just that the threat isn’t real if that makes sense?

Trust me, I’ve had many panic attacks in my time! They are not nice. It’s hard to fight such a primal urge to run away Flowers
