I was just composing a letter, and made a typo (typing fast, trying to get ideas down first) when spell check interrupted my sentence with ' you are totally crap at spelling. Its the, the, THE!'

That's not normal - is it?

You can turn it off while you type.

But since when did it comment on your spelling ability?

Someone's customised the error message.

What are you typing with that interrupts you and says 'you are totally crap at spelling?'

It's just a word document! I was typing away blah blah blah and it inserted mid sentence blah blah you are totally crap at spelling. Its the, the, THE! blah blah. Word for word (not the blahs obv!).

Can you customise the error message?

Looks like someone added that as the autocorrect text

Have a look in the autocorrect list under something like "teh".

Ha - it's if I type tha. I'm wondering if my 10 year old has been having some fun! It's that or my laptop is possessed.

Someone in your house has fiddled with the autocorrect, as above. Going to be difficult to argue they're wrong now though...

My spelling is great! It's my typing that's not so hot.
