I like my toasted well toasted. I would ideally have one piece with butter and one with butter and honey/jam. Tea is always without milk.

An ex work colleague used to make me a cup of tea that looked like B. I felt awful but I couldn't ever drink it, made me feel 🤢. It took me years to find the heart to tell her 😂

The teas are all wrong, though — my shade is midway between C and D. And my toast is between B and C. And it has to be Kerrygold.

I think the teas are all wrong too. I don't often drink it, and don't take milk when I do, but it should be translucent, not a treacly black like F. Most of the others I wouldn't serve to tea-drinking visitors. They look rank.
I don't go much for toast either, unless it has proper hot food with it. Fuck knows what I'm even doing here.
