To ask out a client ...

The work I do I do short term projects then don't have much in the way of involvement with my clients.

Recently met a new client , and nearly finished said project. He's gorgeous and single and he's nice.

I'd like to ask him out for a drink but is that crossing a line, and honestly would a man be put off a woman asking? I'm new to this dating thing - I really have no idea how it all works 🤣

I think it depends on the nature of your job. It could come across as unprofessional if he isn't interested but if you are getting vibes that he likes you then maybe.

It's not a good idea to date clients, but are you freelance or do you work for a company?

If you're freelance and you'll never speak to him again otherwise and there are no company policies to breach then it's not a massive issue.

Is the project coming to an end soon? Can you wait until your no longer involved professionally? If so then go for it!!

As a bloke I'd be delighted to be asked out. I would expect most men would be the same.

However I would wait until the project is ending/closed. Mixing dating and work can be difficult.

Yes, due to come to an end soon and actually I don't just deal with him so should it get awkward and bad to speak to someone about it, I could avoid an uncomfortable situation.

I'm freelance so no company breaches to worry about 😄

Waaa think I'm gonna do it. Cringing just thinking about it but ...🤷🏽‍♀️
