Losing my mind!

Posting for traffic! I am due to travel from England to Scotland on Saturday for a celebration. I am fully vaccinated (since August 2021) and I had COVID between jabs 1 and 2, so less than 180 days ago. I downloaded the NHS app to download a COVID pass in line with Scottish guidelines. The app gave me a QR code but it only lasts 48 hours. After some digging, it appears these passes are given if someone has posted a negative PCR or LFT test in the last 2 days- I have done neither. I was expecting to see a 30 day pass for being fully vaccinated.
I can't check my status on the app in any other way as my photo id is out of date (didn't renew passport as......covid! And I don't drive) and this is how I gain 'full access'. I don't have 5 working days to ask for a letter stating my vaccine status.
Can anyone help??????? Why is my app not just giving me a 30 day pass????

I live in Scotland and have never used/required a covid pass. Where's the celebration, are the venue asking for it?

It's in Edinburgh. We are spending the weekend celebrating a friend's 40th birthday (postponed from May 2020!) So multiple venues. The Scot gov website states it will be required for basically, and I paraphrase, any pubs/bars that play music, have a dancefloor or serve alcohol after midnight.

Ah ok sorry, that's makes sense, I haven't visited any of those types of venues since the pandemic.

If you're fully vaccinated or had a positive test result, the barcode on a PDF is valid for 30 days.

Saw this but I would assume the expiry date on the pass should align.

Could you get a lateral flow test done on Thursday, download the pass on Friday?
