To take an 8 year old to London Dungeons?

I’m not sure if it’s appropriate/too scary? He really wants to go and generally doesn’t scare easily or worry about things like that.
The website recommends no under 8s so would that mean that 8 is ok???
I don’t want to accidentally traumatise him!

We were quite tough kids and we went when we were 9 and 7 and we had to leave because we were so disturbed by it all. But it really depends on the child I think, we had over active imaginations.
