Postpartum memory loss

Posting here for the traffic. Dc2 is 4months and over the last few weeks my memory has become REALLY bad… several moments of standing in the kitchen thinking what am I doing in here… forgetting things mid conversation with someone.. it’s just come on all of a sudden. I don’t have any other health issues although been feeling a bit low mood the last few days, I was thinking it’s due to tiredness from starting up some exercise.
Any advice about the memory loss? Or just a hand hold because I feel sorry for myself đŸ¤£đŸ¤£

As it's suddenly come on it might be worth raising with a gp. But have you managed to get any reasonable sleep regularly? Sleep deprivation with having children did for my memory. I can certainly sympathise Brew

O. Just noticed low mood too. It could be a lean towards a depression. I hope you're feeling ok now. it's not unusual having a child is a huge life change. Find some activities for self care and perhaps talk this over with a partner or close friend. X

Thank you, baby sleeps so well, all night last night and the worst nights sleep will only be broken for an hour.
Yes the depression thing is giving me the dread, had it before, been feeling really good until this memory thing, but I feel like it’s come out of no where.. only low mood nothing major but yes I’m certainly keeping tabs on it.

Would be a good idea to get your thyroid function and iron levels tested because that could be the cause
