WIBU to call the agents or should I wait to hear from them?

Currently trying to rent a property - the market is crazy here, as I think in many places.

Managed to get a viewing on a perfect house, came back and completed the application (which was a massive ballache as it's not an online form, so had to print it out, complete by hand - in duplicate as it's a joint tenancy for DP and I, so everything had to be done twice), scan and email it back. That was on Tuesday and I've heard nothing since.

Would you chase? Or leave it a few more days?

I would definitely chase it, especially if they didn't even acknowledge receipt.

I did call, it was kind of a mixed response. The application has been successful but the LL wants someone to move in within 14 days - and we need to give 7 weeks notice on current place (ie 1 full month from the day of our tenancy which is the 8th of the month)- we would pay for a week's overlap but not a month, so I think we're going to lose out. Annoying but at least I know!
