So I've been feeling ill for a few days - not covid but general aches and pains. Keep saying that I felt cold. Realise that DH (3 layers of clothes) has opened back door adding to the cold in house. Northern England for context. Should he have been more thoughtful?

What’s the Aibu exactly? He left a door open and you’re not very observant
It is not really a biggie, and it isn’t in realms of thoughtlessness

I know it's a bit 1st world problems, but if you're ill, aibu to think you'd be more considerate?

Huh?

I don't know, I mean 'whatever'. It's not something to get worked up about is it?

I hope you feel better soon Thanks

Considerate about what exactly. An Open back door did not make you unwell
You had a virus and felt shivery because of that. Decrease in house temperature probably made you feel uncomfortable. However yiu were already compromised because of the virus

If you are a proper Geordie you can't feel the cold...

Could you not find something else to pick at him about that this managed to be enough of a reason to make a whole thread about it? He had the door open. Close it.

Sometimes you need to get fresh air in the house though and it's even more important when someone is ill. Nothing worse than stuffy air.
