I'm so fed up and I know there's nothing I can do but I need a rant. It's DS's birthday tomorrow. He wanted a specific pair of trainers that I couldn't find in any shops near us. So I ordered them online from Footlocker, along with another pair for my other DC who's treating himself to something new too.
Delivery is via DHL. Tracking gave me an option to deliver to a local shop (not a Footlocker). Perfect, then I don't need to stress about missing the delivery.
Tuesday - we have your parcel.
Thursday am - out for delivery.
Thursday pm - sorry there was a problem, will be delivered tomorrow.
Friday am - parcel out for delivery Friday 2pm - the shop wouldn't accept the parcel, please contact sender.
Angry
You cannot speak to a human at Footlocker customer services. 10mins on a ridiculously long "live chat " with a chat bot where I had to repeat myself over and over.
I've now had an email saying they'll look into it, it'll take about 10 days.
And if I need a refund it'll be 14 days after they receive my parcel back.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Im assuming, from previous sorry experiences with various delivery companies, that it's unlikely the shop didn't accept the parcel, but the driver ran out of time / got lost/ whatever and took the parcel back to the depot.

They have £150 of mine, I have no trainers. DS won't get his main present tomorrow on his birthday and there's NOTHING I CAN DO ANOUT IT!!!!
