Concert tickets?

So my DH and I were both in the virtual queue to buy tickets for a band we both really like. I was having no luck and he sent a message saying that he could get 2 tickets. I said go ahead and get them as I presumed it was for a legitimate site and the right location but no he booked via viago a third party ticket selling site for £179. Face value they are £59. To make it worse he booked for fucking Manchester when we live in Glasgow!

Hmmm….I’ve been in many a virtual queue to get tickets and often you’re so desperate to secure them you end up A. Spending more than you wanted too. B. Getting them for wherever you can, just so you’ve got them. C. Forgetting your password and screaming at your phone/computer/laptop as the time ticks down and you risk losing your tickets.
It’s a stressful job!
Viagogo are rip off merchants though…I never use their site anymore, tickets are way overpriced and they add ridiculous amounts on at the last minute knowing you’ll probably go ahead and pay it because you’ve got that far!

I think you’ll just have to look for the positives…you got the tickets and maybe you’ll have a nice time in Manchester

I got tickets to see Liam Gallagher at Knebworth last week and tbh…I’d have paid whatever I needed to (because I’ve been unashamedly besotted with him since I was 12 and I’ve only seen him 9 times…)
