Hi all

Looking for suggestions on Halloween costumes for my 7 month old and my 2.5 year old. I know I have left it late. I usually prefer home made costumes but I don't have much time on my hands with the two little ones.

Happy for suggestions of easy home made costumes.

Help!!

Black cat?

I use eyeliner for whiskers and nose.

Black top and bottoms

My Tail and ears are from £ land. but you could stuff the leg of some black tights and attach it.

A friend of mine once went as a spider by stuffing newspaper down several pairs of tights.

Charity shops are probably full of kids' Halloween costumes that have only been worn for a couple of hours. That's better than adding to the pile of clothes that are only worn for a matter of hours before they're no longer usable.

You could make tutus with tulle? There are two easy methods, the knotting method doesn't need a sewing machine. Loads of tutorials on YouTube!

Thanks all keep the ideas coming.

I should of mentioned both are boys. I am open to charity shop however, I don't really have the time (or the type of toddler) that would enjoy me going round the charity shops looking for something.

I am actually thinking of now doing the baby as a mummy and buying a bundle of bandages and some fake blood.
Still stuck for the toddler who is changing his mind daily about what he wants to b so need to take matters into my own hands
