To feel a bit cross/worried

It was my birthday recently and dd15 bought me a bottle of wine - she ordered it online and ticked the “over 18” box.
She said normally she’d have asked her dad to order it (we’re separated) but as he’s moving soon didn’t want it to end up at the wrong address.
I know her heart was in the right place , just a bit cross with her for lying about her age.
I’m as sure as I can be she wouldn’t buy alcohol for herself and if she wants an occasional smell drink at home, I’m fine with it.
Any thoughts?

Wouldn't worry me. If you have no other concerns and sure she wouldn't buy it for herself, just trying to be kind to her mum.

When my niece was about seven, my sil was in bed unwell. She climbed up onto the kitchen unit, opened a screw top bottle of wine, poured her a glass and took it to the bedroom!!! It's the legendary family story. Sil had never drank wine in the morning, in bed or to excess. Again niece was trying to be kind.

Why have you posted this twice? And what really is the problem? She sounds like a kind thoughtful daughter.

You've posted this already.. I think let this one go, she doesn't sound like a bad kid, just wanted to do something nice for you. Perhaps reiterate not to do it again.

So what? She was being nice? If she's a good kid it's an odd thing to care about.

It would not bother me either.

Its not like she order MD2020 and 10 lambert and butler to go sit down the park and get hammered with her mates or whatever the youth do nowadays

She sounds like a lovely thoughtful kid, nit worth starting 2 threads about how worried and annoyed you are

I think she was doing something nice for you - I wouldn't be cross with her about it.

I don’t understand why you’re cross or worried? If your 15 year old wanted to drink alcohol believe me she would source it and drink it.

She did a nice thing, let it go
