Health declaration

I have secure a permanent job. Should I declare on my health form that I have anxiety? I find that people judge mental health conditions but then if they don’t know about the condition are they less like to be considerate with sensitive situations.

No you don't have to declare any health concerns on declaration sections.

I have anxiety and never declare it. I prefer to keep it private and manage it in my own way.

It depends if you need/want support.

If you do, declare it, and they'll likely have a conversation with you about how it impacts you and how they can support you.

If you don't, it's up to you if you want to declare it.

I think it’s only when an employer tries to overload me with work is when I get anxious and stressed other than that it does not affect my daily life.

I didn't declare as the advice by job coach was only tell if asked specifically in the medical that should have been carried out. It was cancelled so they don't know officially. I have discussed it vaguely with a previous line manager but not my latest one, so I don't know if it was passed on.

Depends on how stressful the job may be. I think there's been a case where a tribunal found that a woman should have declared mental health issues when she was offered a job, but she didn't.

No I’ve recently done a work medical form and didn’t mention my anxiety or another health issue I have
