I’m self employed with my own business and since the arrival of my daughter (now year 5, only child), I’ve worked around school drop offs etc. It’s been great in many ways, but also pretty restrictive. There's no doubt that I've kept work to a particular level to keep it manageable.
I’m now thinking ahead to my daughter walking to school herself... and the possibility of expanding the business.
When your DC reached that age, did you find you had more freedom to invest more into other areas of your life, such as work?
