NHS COVID Pass Inaccuracy

Sarwrigh · 11/10/2021 21:17

Posting for traffic.

I had my two jabs in May and July and the second jab is not showing on the app. I am therefore unable to travel without testing and quarantine. In Wales I am not able to attend events as per the new law. After trying for weeks to get this resolved through 119, I am totally frustrated and lost as to what to do. Has anyone experienced this and how did you resolve this. If there is anyone here who works in the this sector, what would recommend.

Thanks in advance.

Same thing happened to my sibling. 4 months to resolve.

Star81 · 11/10/2021 21:28

They were able to confirm he had had 2 vaccines but was was ‘in a queue’ for the system update. It was 2 different system between his first and second which caused the issue but just crazy they worked it out but wouldn’t officially update for weeks !

JackieCollinshasnoauthority · 11/10/2021 21:30

Did the second vaccination take place in Wales or is there anything "different" about the circumstances that mean it would not have been recorded on your records?

Welsh government website says to call your health board if the details are incorrect:

gov.wales/get-your-covid-19-vaccination

I would also recommend you contact your MS and ask them how to resolve it.

Both took place in England. At different vaccination centres within a 5 mile radius. Nothing unusual about the circumstances. Just that one hasn’t appeared on the pass and despite calling 119 repeatedly, no one ever called back or acknowledges the issue.

You can get your gp to add it I think if you have the card you were given with the date, batch etc on

This happened to me. The error was at the vaccination centre who hadn’t updated the system that day. They updated it with me on the phone and it was sorted soon after. This was after getting no where with 119. Have you called them?

JackieCollinshasnoauthority · 11/10/2021 21:49

Do you live in Wales? Where are you registered with a GP? I'm trying to understand why you were vaccinated in england so I can best advise.

Toobuktim · 11/10/2021 21:52

You need to google Covid Pass Error Report and phone 119 to resolve. We had the opposite with a phantom covid on my teenagers medical record

whatfreshheck · 11/10/2021 21:54

Can you call the vaccination centre? If you have the date and batch number they should be able to put it on for you.

underthebed · 11/10/2021 21:56

I'm in England but I had a similar issue. my second vaccine showed the wrong date and brand. My GP surgery raised a query through sone system ir other and it was corrected within a couple of weeks. Have you spoken to your GP OP?

Called GP who said to keep trying 119. But that could just be the receptionist who gave wrong advice. Perhaps speaking to the GP may get a better result

This does say to contact your GP. I assumed you were in Wales based on your reference to the law - in the meantime you can take a lateral flow if you are attending a large event.

And contact your MP if no luck.

Only 119 can really help you in this situation

PlanBea · 12/10/2021 05:41

Same happened to my DH, he called the GP to get it fixed as 119 couldn't do anything about it. Took ages for the receptionists to understand the issue but it got sorted in the end!

Blossomsbloom · 12/10/2021 06:39

Someone in your GP practice should be able to add it onto the central system. It can't be added directly into your GP records as it won't show on the NHS app.
They need to know where you had it, date, batch number and brand.
119 can also do it for you. They are really busy so you may have to keep trying.

aftonwater · 12/10/2021 06:51

Please don’t try and speak to a GP about this, ask for the Practice Manager instead.
