AIBU to ask for your help with New Balance trainers for toddlers?

DS has wide feet H width and I wanted to get him some trainers (he's a toddler 5.5). I've found some new balance ones with velcro strap across cheaply online, as I'm told they come up nice and wide but I can't find any info on the width. Does anyone have them for their toddlers who can advise on whether they are particularly generous in width?

I've looked at Clarks and Startrite but the prices are so high, I was trying to find something a bit cheaper as he's between sizes at the moment and I think he's about to go through a growth spurt so won't be in these ones for long.

They offer three widths on these trainers.

Clarke’s are expensive but it’s important they are correctly fitting, if they don’t advertise a width fitting they may not be wide enough. Have you had his feet measured?

Trouble with trainers, even Clark's, is they tend not to come in different widths. I have the same problem with DS1 (aged 9) who is an 'H+' (I.e too wide for the gauge...) and he often has to go up a size or even a half size for width. Appreciate your comments re the cost (it is very upsetting!) but at that age, the fit is important. Sorry, not a terribly helpful post but I hope you can find something suitable.

@NeverDropYourMooncup thank you, I saw those but it wouldn't let me click the 'wide' option no matter which size/colour combo I tried so I presumed the wider ones weren't available.

Yes, I have had him measured, he's an H fitting.
