Linda McCartney frozen mince

I want to batch cook chilli with Linda McCartney mince but it states do not refreeze. Why can't it be refrozen? Should I just risk it? I've already made spag bol with it last week without checking. Any help would be appreciated.

it means don't refreeze if the raw mince has defrosted. If you cook it and then freeze this is fine

I reedreeze quorn mince all the time when batch cooking. Never had an issue.

I can't imagine the Linda McCartney stuff is any different.

YABU for buying Linda mince! 🤢 Asda's own version is much nicer. And as PPs have said, don't defrost and refreeze it but cooking and freezing is fine.

I agree with Tesco veggie mince being the best!
The frozen meat free burgers are also amazing!
