Leave them to it, don't get what the problem is. They are happy, you are happy.

macwoozy · 08/12/2007 16:07

Bet you still have to clear the mess though

JackieNoel · 08/12/2007 16:09

You could make it their very own annual tradition that they do the tree and then you can come down (once eveything's been tidied away) and admire it. Then you'd never have to do it again.

good idea i will leave them to it
thought they keep coming in asking where is and that is knew they needed me

oh dmo stay in bed- but just don't expect the tree to end up looking like a gift from The People Of Norway- or indeed anything like how you would want it.

dmo · 08/12/2007 16:58

well dh couldnt find the tree
so he has gone to homebase with the boys to buy a new one
i said it has to be no bigger than 5inch
dh wants one that pops out of the box with lights on
will keep you updated
