Ive thought about NOW. Don't know much about the others. We had Disney for a year but we didn't really watch it. Any recommendations?

Amazon Prime? We are complete streaming channel whores in this house. We sign up to whatever happens to be on offer, binge watch every series that interests us and then move onto another channel.

WhyOhWhyOhWhyyyy · 09/10/2021 18:11

We have them all (DH tells me this is vital apparently)

The ones that we use most are Apple TV and Disney+. Followed by Netflix. I never find anything to watch on Amazon Prime.

When did you get rid of Disney? They’ve added a lot more content recently so might be worth another go if you haven’t used it recently. Apple TV has less content but I find it’s generally high quality.

I find amazon prime a nightmare to use. I can never find things and always end up on the page where you have to buy the videos.
Netflix has quite a lot of new content at the moment. Some good films.
There is so much on the television catch up sites, I could be watching 24/7 tbh.

coodawoodashooda · 09/10/2021 18:18

i mainly watch disney now - they've added a lot of material in the past six months. when we renewed back in march i was thinking that we probably wouldn't next year but have probably changed my mind now and would keep disney over netflix if i had to choose.

magicstar1 · 09/10/2021 18:29

I have a Chromecast and just use free sites for movies and tv series, then cast to tv.

amazeandastonish · 09/10/2021 18:31

I've been watching a few things on BBC IPlayer

Blankspace4 · 09/10/2021 18:31

I thought Now Tv was just the ability to watch Sky channels on demand?

Oh. Could you tell me what you like? I like a decent box set.

I have Now TV OP. It’s good, yes Mare of Eastown is on there, also Game of Thrones, Succession, The Wire etc. Loads of stuff.

But yeah eventually you get to the point with all of them that you’ve seen everything you want. So just cancel it, move onto another platform and keep switching round.

Clara91 · 09/10/2021 18:37

I have them but I think NOW is the best. Easy to use, loads to watch and it's cheaper than going directly through Sky.

Fdksyihfd · 09/10/2021 18:41

I’ve found recently that Disney has lots on it so it depends how long ago it was since you had it to whether it’s changed

Sturmundcalm · 09/10/2021 18:55

think my tastes are probably a bit bizarre but have watched the recent MCU shows (like wandavision), only murders in the building, the last man standing.

plus the basketball show with john stamos, greys anatomy and an older show about a medical examiner that i'm totally forgetting the name of!

have watched several films on there recently as well like Free Guy and Nomadland

toolazytothinkofausername · 09/10/2021 18:56

Disney+ is so much better now Star is on it. So many old films to watch Grin

Lifeisshortandbittersweet · 09/10/2021 22:00

I've got britbox, is some great British comedy and drama boxsets on there x

LorenzoVonMatterhorn · 09/10/2021 22:02

I am loving the morning show on apple tv.

OldTinHat · 09/10/2021 22:09

Starzplay and prime here. Prime is a bit hit and miss but if you have patience you can find some real gems on there.

coodawoodashooda · 10/10/2021 13:12

I hadn't heard of Britbox or Starzplay. Thank you.
