To see a second fertility specialist?

Posting for traffic.

A bit of background, had a miscarriage November 2019 started trying again April this year, had a early miscarriage at five weeks in June.

Still not pregnant.

I'm 35, I'm thinking if I'm not pregnant Christmas will see a different fertility specialist in the mew year.

Went to see one in July and he said slightly low egg count of 17, fibroid, endermetriosis and adenomiosis had been found but to leave things to natural causes as I've fallen pregnant twice naturally he doesn't see issue in conception or miscarriage and my next pregnancy should be fine.

I guess my question is has anyone seen a second fertility specialist and had different advice?

In other words could this doctor have perhaps missed something and is it worth getting a second opinion?

When it comes to fertility, if you're not completely convinced with the care you're under definitely get a second opinion.

I would be asking for a second opinion at this stage as well.

Was the specialist nhs or private?
I’d be in lied to get a sep bad opinion but be warned the fertility world is a major money spinner that can play on your deepest psychological desires. Watch that you don’t end up spending money on lots of different ‘fixes’ find out what likely success rates are and the benefits of different options before putting yourself through any intervention. I had ivf twice and totally get your need for answers - just be warned it’s a money pit once you start

Well a second opinion isn’t a bad plan. The first doctor may well be right. Just watch that you don’t get sucked into buying extras.

Get a second opinion, the first fertility clinic we went to was shit, the second one was way better, its worth shopping around. If you are near manchester i really rate manchester fertility

I think the specialist has said no further treatment requires because:

A- you have only been trying this time around since April. Give it until next April and see what happens.

B- you have been pregnant 3 times, so entirely possible next time will stick

C- your age- only 35 with still a v good chance at natural conception.

I think the doctor is right for now. If youve had no luck or another MC by end of April next year Id get a second opinion.
