To ask about travel to Sweden?

I've booked to fly to Stockholm in two weeks and can't figure out the rules! Can anyone help before I cancel the trip?

I am a UK citizen and resident and am fully vaccinated. I know I'm fine to go. But, I'm travelling with my unvaccinated 11 year old DD. I honestly can't figure out if she can go. I've contacted the embassy and they just send me to a useless website that doesn't mention children at all.

I'm assuming I should cancel, but am shamelessly using AIBU to see if anyone has experience.

We are flying to Sweden next week and have been studying the regulations closely. Originally we were only going to be allowed entry because we are dual nationals and have Swiss passports but that changed a couple of days ago so that fully vaccinated UK passport holders with the NHS Covid pass will be allowed in from the 11th October. My understanding is that under 18’s accompanying a vaccinated adult can also enter Sweden but my advice is to contact your airline and ask. The Swedish police website is very confusing and convoluted and the embassy won’t answer questions for some reason.

@SarahMused Thanks very much for responding. Confirms what we know so far. And the police website is painful.

I’m hoping to make it over for Christmas …I usually fly via Denmark so that makes it even more convoluted… so just bookmarking my place really!

This is from the Swedish government FAQ

No restrictions at all to enter Sweden once you get into Denmark. I know some people have used this route to avoid the travel ban over the summer.
