Police officer with restraining order

As title really. One of my friends was married to a police officer. He harrassed her after they split up and she has a restraining order against him..he is still a serving police officer. Seems very wrong to me?!

I agree it’s batshit. A good friend of mine has a restraining order against her ex, he’s not allowed contact with their children either (even with supervision). He’s banned from going near the children’s schools, the teachers immediately phone the police when they see him. He still stalks my friend regularly. He also has a family from before getting with my friend, same circumstances with restraining orders/banned from their children and school premises etc. He’s a serious danger to women. But he’s working in a local hospital as an obstetrician 🤦🏼‍♀️ They are very aware of what he’s doing
