To ask for coffee machine recommendations

Posted here for traffic as I'm keen to get as many opinions as possible. DP and I are planning on buying a coffee machine. He would love a sage barista one. They're quite pricey though and it's a lot of counter space in our kitchen. So can MN recommend a cheaper one that still makes a good coffee and has a milk steamer? If the machine could grind the coffee beans it would be great but not essential.

I have the delonghi dedica and it is fantastic. Very neat so doesn’t take up much room but makes great coffee. Very reliable compared to the gaggia I had before

@ImperfectTents does it give you good, frothy milk?

I bought the delonghi magnifica s last year. Its great, grinds beans and has a wand for milk. It doesn't take up too much space

We have a Krups bean to cup, it's amazing!

I don't have any suggestions as I am in the same boat and am contemplating buying one for dh for Christmas.

I like the look of the smeg one but don't know anyone with one so have no clue of they're any good or not.

We have limited counter space too so need it to be neat but amazing!

We have a Jura at work. Everyone raves about it.

I have this one too. I rarely steam the milk but it did do the job on the occasions I've tried it.

It takes ground coffee rather than beans and might not be as "heavy duty" as you're after. It makes great coffee though and is nice and compact.
