DH is a HGV driver, he has just found out he has a narrowing of an artery in his heart.
The only symptom he has is that after exercising he will feel a tight pain in his chest that passes quite quickly. It only happens when he exercises.
He is now worried that he won't be able to drive a HGV and so we will end up losing our house. He isn't sleeping and his mum calls and makes it all worse with her doom and gloom, glass half empty attitude.
Does anyone know a HGV driver who has a heart condition? Are they still allowed to drive?
He sees a doctor about it in a month's time (again I have told him if it was very serious/they were worried then they would see him quicker) and we'll ask them questions
