Going out alone

My. Husband is going out with friends for a few hours in another town, he wants me to wait until he comes home and then meet up to go out together to our local pub. I want to go out when he does and him meet me there when he returns. If the shoe was on the other foot he would be straight out the door when I left. AIBU

I wouldn't want to be in the pub for a few hours on my own but that's me. If it's what you want then do it. Or have I misunderstood?

He sounds controlling and ridiculous. Definitely head to the pub yourself if you want to. Does he have many other rules about what women shouldn’t do?
