Visiting an elderly lady in England who has just come out of hospital. Door is getting banged on by Trick or Treating Kids! I express my amazement and the parents think it's fun for their little kids to knock all the doors in costumes. Apart from the fact it's October 6, there is no pumpkin outside the house and there are people still keeping their distance from strangers - am I being unreasonable to suggest these parents are being inconsiderate and thoughtless in the extreme?

Yes!! It’s not Halloween 🎃

Ridiculous.
1- it’s far too early in the month
2- Halloween etiquette is to only knock on doors with pumpkins and/or Halloween decorations

Bizarre!

We had kids knocking on our apartment door at the weekend yelling trick or treat but I assumed their parents didn't know what they were up to...
