Boden sizing

Not really an aibu, though maybe I am as I should know this!! Whenever I’ve bought Boden clothes for my children, they’ve been sized 6-7, 7-8 etc. I’ve seen some pyjamas that I like, but they’re only aged by single years 6, 7, 8 etc. So I was wondering what Boden sizing was like. If I bought something for 7Y, would that be a better fit for a 6-7 year old or 7-8 year old? Thank you

It's one of those brands that used to be generous but now isn't particularly and their kids pyjamas are particularly neat in their sizing

I would agree with the above, hoodies/coats are fairly generous/on size, pyjamas are cosy especially the stretchy ones

Great, thank you. So for a 7 year old, I’d be better off buying the 8Y pyjamas?

i’ve just ordered some jammies from them in the next sale!
They are very slim fitting compared to the next own brand ones.
They do say on the label to wear snug fitting. They are aged 3 but my DS is just about to go into 2-3 and he’ll be in them sooner than later.

I would be buying the 8 & 9 - seeing what fits best when they arrive and then return the other one

I find Boden sizing very variable - but for the boys stuff especially PJs they were usually slimming fit - I didn't mind the pjs being too long for my DS as I usually bought the cuffed legging type - quality was always very good

Just remember to buy at 20% discount or £10 off offers etc

Buy bigger definitely they do cut small.
