Can someone please explain this to me? I ordered these to collect milk when I randomly start leaking but it says I can only use milk collected while breastfeeding..? Am I missing something here??

No, you're not missing anything. You can't use them to collect milk for hours and then subsequently give that milk to the baby. Milk collected in a single sitting, like when you're breast feeding, which is then properly stored afterwards is fine.

I was just planning to use them when I start leaking (usually on a morning but sometimes before feeds) for around half an hour. Is that not okay...?

It isn't a milk storage device, it's for catching leaks.

That’s absolutely fine OP x

Per PP, it means baby can only have the milk released while they are nursing.

You use these when you aren't nursing and then you dump the milk instead of collecting it and giving it to baby.

They basically mean don’t give your baby milk that’s been hanging round for hours at room/body temperature.

You’re not missing anything. They’re to catch the leaks, not to collect milk for baby.
