I'm so mad and just need to have a vent

Me and DP have a toddler DS together. We broke up about a month ago but in good terms.

Ex moved a few hours away but maintained he wanted to see DS a lot still. I said I would never make contact difficult, he was welcome to see DS whenever he wants.

He has not come to see DS once since he left. He's also just told me he's travelled to the other end of the country for the weekend to hang out with a friend. So he can travel miles to see a friend but not his own child.

Bloody useless man. I'm so mad he isn't putting the effort in but I know if I say anything it'll fall on deaf ears.

Just tell him you only want to hear from him if it concerns your dc... He is imo flaunting his single man's life...

One month? My ex hasn't bothered in 4 years (except about 3 times) it's crap but so many don't bother and it's a sign of things to come

Ha, mine too, especially galling as I was wfh with 2 kids homeschooling and he was furloughed...

As pp have said, he's shown his colours and yes, crap parenting indeed op, sorry.

Why haven't you sorted a schedule for when he spends time with both parents
