Just asking what your thoughts on this?

It’s quite a broad question, in which context do you mean?

Nah, people have always been cunts

Not answering your specific question, but this pandemic has turned some people in to proper arse holes.

I was just musing on this the other day - I feel people have become more self-absorbed, which is interesting / depressing because I initially thought it would bring out more of a community spirit.

I hosted a family event the other day, which was really important to us. Recognising not everyone would want or be able to to come, we set up a Zoom and made it as easy as possible for people to join. The amount of people that didn’t dial in, despite saying they would, because they ‘just didn’t feel up to it / the time wasn’t great / I needed a lie in for my MH.’

It’s really made me reevaluate the amount of effort I’ve put in to supporting them over the last year (while I was pregnant and giving birth in a pandemic) and how I’ll navigate those relationships in the future.
