I know IABU, but I'm so bothered! DH and I are the same height. I seldom wear heels because I'm tall, but I did and someone said to DH (in front of me) "bit emasculating, isn't it?"

DH, being truly 'D'H replied "no way, I love my beautiful warrior queen". But it's really got under my skin! I can’t help being tall, are some men really that insecure in their own masculinity?

I feel very self conscious now, and I'm annoyed with myself.

I am also the same height as my DH. I rarely wear heels as I struggle to walk in them, but DH doesn't mind a bit if I do.

The person who commented was very rude, and I think you've hit the nail on the head when you suggest he's insecure in his masculinity.

Be proud of your height and stand tall, and be glad you've got a confident DH who not only loves you as you are but will call out rude comments.

Comments like this tell you more about the person who made the comment than it does about you. He's probably got little man syndrome with a tiny dick. You are tall, there's nothing you can do about it and I would kill for your long legs. Every rock star you see in a magazine is smaller than their beautiful, tall model partners. Now try not worry about it, get on with your life, wear your high heels and enjoy being able to reach the high cupboards easily 😂

Bet your DH thinks you're gorgeous whether you wear heels or not. His response was awesome BTW!

The person who said that was a sexist git. There are always going to be sexist gits in the world unfortunately and you can't fix them. Their opinions are worthless though, so just shake off the dust of the memory of their idiocy and get on with your life. You and your DH are totally fine and do not need the approval of sexist gits.

People like that are everywhere. Don’t let it get under your skin. I’m the opposite, I’m very short at 5’1 and my DH is 6’3, someone commented why did he choose a sample of a woman instead of a proper soman as I am shorter than his shoulder.
