Evening all.

Just wondered if any of you would like to share your experiences if you have had or currently have FWB situation? Did wither of you get feelings? If so who and what happened after that?

I've never had an official 'friends with benefits' but there's been a few guys who I would hang out with and sleep with on a regular basis with the understanding that it would never turn into more. It never worked out for me as I always ended up getting feelings for them and wanting more and when they pulled back or stopped wanting to hang out/sleep with me I would get really upset and feel really hurt. It's the sex for me, if I'm having really good sex then it's inevitable that I will start getting feelings. It's a hormonal thing, I can't help it as much as I've tried so I just don't bother anymore. I can deal with a one night stand, but it literally has to be a one night stand, I can't see them again after.

I had a FWB for 3 years. He lived in a different city to me. No, neither of us developed feelings but I am very good at controlling my emotions. It was perfect for me as a divorced mum as I do not want a proper relationship but don't necessarily want to live like a nun. I ended it a while back as I wasn't really into it any more but I'd consider a similar situation again in future.
