To not realise how hard walking could be??

Had this work charity thing today - 30 miles! I run quite a bit and have done a couple of half marathons recently which don't really bother my legs/feet that much...thought how bad can it be!

But I can hardly walk!! Walking is hard! But quite proud of myself!

30 miles is a massive walk, well done!

Thirty miles? Bloody hell, that must have taken about ten hours.

No wonder you can hardly walk, OP. And well done!

Wow 30 miles, good for you!! I regularly walked 12-15 miles in lockdown and I could definitely feel it the next morning - quite different kind of soreness to running as well. You might need a hot bath for some sore muscles tomorrow!

30 miles? At average speed that’s 10 hours. That’s more than a marathon

saltinesandcoffeecups · 01/10/2021 23:38

Sorry hit post too soon. That is impressive

imamearcat · 01/10/2021 23:51

We set off at 8.30 and finished at 8pm! Stopped for an hour at lunch then they got loads of mini stops in the last half but it kinda made it harder stopping and starting!

It was enjoyable just painful towards the end! Not sure my feet will ever be the same!
