Can't delete child's YouTube channel

My daughter wants to remove her channel which was set up as a child's Channel under my adult account when she was younger

For some unknown reason the adult account was suspended. No idea why but now I cannot access my child's channel as it doesn't have its own email.

I've tried appealing about 6 times with more information stating I do not want my channel reinstated but I want my child's videos deleted and each time I get the standard 'we have decided not to reinstate your account'

I'm not sure what to do now... any ideas?

Can you report the child’s account as being underage?

What violation were you banned for? Regaining access would be the easiest way… and being banned from YouTube is not the easiest thing!

@TakeYourFinalPosition I really don't know, we had one video of a pizza oven build and my sons first bike ride on there. We didn't really use it and found it had been suspended when we went to show someone the pizza oven video. It's crazy, I've got zero idea why it was suspended and they don't tell you. I've still got access to the Google account and the emails for it etc they just won't let me access YouTube on it

Actually, being banned from YouTube is incredibly easy. It’s not just about the video content but if someone reports your comments. It happened to me because I watched a gender critical video and posted that I thought the video was good.

Unfortunately OP, Youtube very rarely reinstate accounts once deleted. I had a bit of a nightmare trying to create a new one as well because it kept linking back to my old deleted account and not letting me sign back up with a new one. I can’t remember what I did, but I managed to create a new one in the end.

The only thing that could possibly work is, if you do manage to create a new account, keep flagging your child’s videos and reporting them, but I have no idea if that would actually work. Emailing Google or using their help desk didn’t get any response either.

@confusionisreal - you could give the name of your DD's YouTube channel to some trusted family members/friends and ask them to report the channel for whatever reason. YouTube may pay more attention if they are getting multiple reports from various people whose accounts have not been suspended. Just an idea, not sure if it would work, but perhaps worth a shot?
