To think it’s time to go on strike?

I’m just so sick of our safety, our health, our wellbeing, our LIVES, not being taken seriously and I can’t think of another option. The women’s march in 2016 achieved nothing. WEP is a joke. The other parties don’t care. It’s time to get drastic. No work, no childcare, no chores, no sex, until they agree to our demands. We are 51% of the population. We matter.

What do we want?

• An end to male violence
• To be seen as equals not objects
• Affordable childcare
• Properly funded refuges
• Not to have to fight for healthcare
• The end of the pay gap

When do we want it?

• Years a-bloody-go frankly.

You can do all those protests together, in one foul swoop, if you go and super glue yourself onto the steps of No.10 Downing Street. Boris likes to talk to lovely ladies.

There is no quick fix, look at what we have achieved over the years. The vote, the right to work then equal pay , the right to own property and equal rights over our children. Attitudes to women now are so different to when I was growing up in the 60's and 70's. Yes, there is still a way to go but it has always been a long hard fought struggle so let's not forget all those women before us who paved the way to get us to where we are now as this generation takes up the work and we slowly improve things for those to come.

Work, childcare, chores and sex are all the things we moan about the most, so I'm. Up for that!
