Oldest son thinking about it to earn some extra cash. I think he'd make more with a regular job.

Anyone know what you could make a week? How many hours to make £100

Between 7 and 12 pound per hour.

Thank you! That explains it perfectly.

I'll show him this. Think he'd be better with a steady part time job

Yes I dont hear great things about those kinds of jobs.
They seem not to care about the workers and just get new people in and out all the time.
Good luck to your ds for his job search!

How old his he? There seems to be plenty of retail/hospitality jobs in my area that are paying above minimum wage and don't involve the agro that delivery drivers get.

He's 19 and taking a year out before university. Trying to save. Yes, retail seems a better option.

OK, we were in a similar situation with DD last year. She au-paired for a few months, then high street retail at £8.50/hr. Contracted for 20hrs but mostly did 30-36 per week. She also took a minimum wage bar job (16hrs) to save even more money before she went off to university.
