Open it.

HeronLanyon · 30/09/2021 19:42

No reason why not surely ?

Surpriseat42 · 30/09/2021 19:42

Will you regret it tomorrow even with your later start time? I think I would so would vote no and can we help instead, sorry you’ve had a dreadful day. Can you do something you enjoy like watch something and distract yourself?

hopeishere · 30/09/2021 19:42

Nay. A bottle of cava is plenty!!

JennetHumfrye · 30/09/2021 19:43

Do it!

Anonymous48 · 30/09/2021 19:43

You really don't need our permission. Open it if you want to.

Lindy2 · 30/09/2021 19:43

Life's too short to save Champagne when you need a drink. Go for it. Enjoy it and I hope it helps improve your bad day.

Flufferty · 30/09/2021 19:43

I wouldn't, but only because I know I'd feel like crap tomorrow

TheHouseILiveIn · 30/09/2021 19:44

You've already had a bottle of cava, so nay

immersivereader · 30/09/2021 19:44

I'll join you

Anonymous48 · 30/09/2021 19:44

Actually, you were being unreasonable for drinking cava rather than champagne. Life's too short!

SantaMonicaPier · 30/09/2021 19:44

I'd say no. Save it for a happy occasion and don't risk making a bad day worse with a hangover.

ItsJustTheOneSwanActually · 30/09/2021 19:45

Nooo one bottle is enough - it seems like a good idea now, but won’t tomorrow

Go and brush your teeth, it’ll put you off.

thefirstmrsrochester · 30/09/2021 19:45

Aye, go for it. Enjoy your bubbles. Life is indeed too short.

Cloudyzebra · 30/09/2021 19:45

No, don't waste champagne on a bad day. Have a cup of tea and go to bed. Drink the champagne on a day when you will actually enjoy it.

MintyGreenDream · 30/09/2021 19:46

It's open.woohoo!

solarsky · 30/09/2021 19:46

No save it for a celebration or Christmas

Wilkolampshade · 30/09/2021 19:46

Keep the champers fr a happy occasion... Nothing else in the house?
Why was your day so horrid OP?

GoWalkabout · 30/09/2021 19:47

No, because people with alcohol problems keep posting on here for a free pass and permission to overdo it. Its up to you what you drink not a bunch of strangers egging you on in what might be completely harmless or might be a relapse.

LifeBeginsNow · 30/09/2021 19:47

My sensible head says no. Go have a lovely breakfast before work tomorrow to start the day in a better way. A hangover will just cause you to have 2 bad days instead of 1.

CrimeJunkie01 · 30/09/2021 19:48

My 14 year old drunk my 15 year old not toe of expensive champagne after I went to bed the other night. 15 years I'd saved that for a special occasion!! I say drink it before some other fucker does. Apparently being bored on a Saturday night is occasion enough!!!

LadyTiredWinterBottom2 · 30/09/2021 19:48

Wow it must be a really shit day to need a second bottle.

I wouldn't. Aren't you running the risk of being ill?

Limejuiceandrum · 30/09/2021 19:49

Glad you opened it! Thursdays are champs dayS, in fact If I were rich enough I would drink champagne everyday.
No point in saving for best, unless you’re scrabbling round to pay the leccy billl.

UltimateBugKilla · 30/09/2021 19:50

That didn't take long, I think you will regret it, but enjoy 🥂

MintyGreenDream · 30/09/2021 19:50
