At &pm I went to put 2dc to bed. and to be honest I fell asleep with babs. I have just woke up to tea dishes still not washed. So now before bed I need to load dishwasher, get kids stuff ready for tomorrow and quickly tidy kids toys tomorrow. Admittedly this is not a lot and I shouldn't have fallen asleep but inbetween watching tv could dp not have at least filled dishwasher!!!

YANBU but it's exactly the same in this house if that's any consolation.

snap. (plus DH gets grumpy if I fall asleep with the DC!)

I'd go back to bed,shouting instructions to him as you climb the stairs.

Oh that's not very good. In this house, one of us puts to bed, the other tidies up.

normally he is really good. we have just moved house and he was making an effort. but the last few nights he has put to bed while I have tidied up. so i presumed he would do the same. Oh to presume. I should have left a list.

oh well. i was just about to bugger off but I can hear the rattle of pans being put in the dishwasher. woo hoo
