First break in weeks, sat on the sofa for half an hour and started watching an episode of Superstore. How have I missed this? It's so funny. AIBU for wishing I worked there?

Love superstore. If you watch Good girls on Netflix, the store they shop in is actually superstore with superstore staff..it’s brilliant! 🙂

I like it. Good characters, funny lines, but I don’t love it. I watched a few episodes and then let it slide.

New Girl is properly hilarious though.

I loved Superstore! I worked a lot of retail jobs around uni and could relate to practically everything 😆

We love Superstore here too - Dina is a family favourite. DH and I have watched the British equivalent, Trollied, but I would say that that one isn't 'family' viewing in comparison

I've just finished this after bingeing it all, and I am bereft. One of the funniest things I've watched in ages, and I shall miss them all!

What is similar please? I'm also a huge Brooklyn 99 fan.

Love Superstore! The Garret - Dina story and generally all of Dina was my fave 😍

I love the show! The end of series four and the very last episode made me cry 😳

Such a good show, lots of laughs. I really love how they handled the pandemic in the storylines too

I love Dina. And Glenn. I love them all! The writing is sharp.

We are re-watching and the episode at the end of series 4 makes me well up.

I love them all. I am fond of Carole - I think the actress playing her had a lot of fun.

I love how Sandra's character blossoms.

Dina's recurring cop uniform.

And the recurring customer that just used to say "I've just moved here from Tampa". She popped up once a series to deliver the exact same line!

I was another late comer to the Superstore fanclub and only found out during the first lockdown but absolutely loved it! Agree that Garrett is amazing and I loved the random severed foot line that ran throughout for absolutely no reason 🤣

Another series I found and LOVED was Jane the Virgin - gutted when I worked my way through it.

Is Jane the Virgin suitable for young teens (12 & 14) - we need something new.

We also loved Kim's Convenience.

I'd say so @Notonthestairs, it's got Ugly Betty vibes if you've ever seen that and is set up as a parody "telenovela" (Latin American sitcom) so it's all very satirical, far fetched and exaggerated.

I love it and binged most of series 1-5 on my own. Watching again with DP and we’re still laughing out loud. I’m so excited that series 6 is now on Netflix. We’ll be there by next weekend 😊
