Not taking my son to the doctors

We've had this horrible cold that's going around. Probably getting on for 10/11 days now. Seemed to get slightly better on day 5/6 but now feeling rubbish again.

We took PCRs on Sunday and they came back negative.

I don't think I need to go to the doctors? My son is 3.5 years old. Not complaining of earache, has a cough but isn't wheezy.

Any advice?

If he’s eating, sleeping and playing normally, and not got a temperature I wouldn’t take him.
Coughs can take weeks to go after a cold.

I wouldn't go yet if he's still pretty much fine, with just a cough/snotty nose. (Round here I dont think youd get an appointment anyway).

If they have a cough over 4 or 5 weeks I think it is you should call the doctor. But before that if his fine in himsef then not really
