To ask for ideas for party bags for 8 year olds

It is my son’s 8th birthday in November and we can (hopefully) have a party this year. I want to do really fun party bags - but am at a loss for ideas for what to put in them and would really welcome ideas !

Planet friendlier options are: home made biscuits. Lush bath bombs (they do a cool rocket one), stuff to grow. Something practical like a reusable water bottle. Chocolate and sweets or other edibles are less wasteful.

My daughter turned this year I gave them.a rubix cube and cake in the party bags. They talked about them for ages.

I've also done seeds, pencil cases and those eggs that hatch.....

Not plastic tat. I hate it when the kids come home with that, then I chuck if a few days later feeling the guilt

I've bought multi packs of age appropriate books in the past and sent them off with those with some haribo attached. (I've wrapped them and done a lucky dip style thing at the end)
