Hi there,

Wondered if anyone could kindly guide me?

I am currently working in a marketing role with a degree, however over the past few years have though about retraining in Law, specifically human rights and immigration.

Any advise on what would need to be done and does anyone work as an immigration advisor?

Not sure re immigration but re law, my daughter was an actress and at 27 mid pandemic applied for law. She has a BA in musical theatre and good higher/advanced higher and A level results.
She is doing a 2year law degree online in Scotland and there are several older people in the course. Go for it!!

On my training contract was a woman in her 30s who was changing career from marketing and it was brilliant, she had the kind of skills that lots of the other lawyers really could have done with to sell their services!! Do it!

Don't get too hung up on what type of law though before you try various areas - have an open mind, human rights law isn't all saving the world and it can be extremely frustrating and hard to get paid...
