AIBU to be finding sorting audiobooks for my DD so flipping hard?!

I probably am BU but after my DD(9) quickly got through the very few audiobooks free with her kids Kindle, I'm having trouble finding others for her. Tried an Audible subscription, but very few free books for her age. I'm happy to pay if needs be, and/or to use something other than her kids Kindle for listening. How do other people do this? I'm sure I'm missing something after hours of trying as it shouldn't be this hard! Any suggestions gratefully received...!

Your local library will have some free children's audiobooks.

I've found this website to be very reasonable for audio books. It downloads as mp3 .

Google Play have audio books, I've listened to a few adult ones on there

Also borrow box.

My local library does free children's books through borrowbox and/or Libby. Google " online services" e.g. Norfolk libraries online services and you can usually find them.

Audible has plus now which gives you access to quite a large collection of free audiobooks, this is the children's section in plus - www.audible.co.uk/search?audible_programs=22935303031&hiddenBrowseNodes=true&node=19376662031&ref=a_search_l1_catRefs_3&pf_rd_p=ff83f79f-3ec9-4d26-81d0-a70cf6f8e4e3&pf_rd_r=HY8NZX76ZJA0JB51JQ02
does she have a Kindle or a Kindle fire because you could borrow books from your library and the apps can be added to a Kindle Fire where we live we can borrow audiobooks from both Overdrive/Libby and Borrowbox but you would have to check with your local library.

Your local library service should have an audiobook service. Most are via Libby or Borrowbox which can be used on a Kindle fire, a smart phone or tablet.

Librivox has classics available free of charge although the narration can be variable.

BBC sounds has free audio content including audiobooks, although they are often abridged so if this matters check.

Google play has audiobooks but these are generally paid content.
