DS school has informed me at the ripe old age of 4 he's said to the other boys if you touch your willy it explodes.

I'm MORTIFIED beyond belief he's never spoken like this at home and I'm so embarrassed. We've chatted and I've said it's not appropriate talking like that. He attends nursery with older children (up to 10) and I'm assuming he's heard it somewhere.

School are concerned and passing it to the headteacher, which is really worrying me as I don't want them to think we've spoken at home about stuff like that because we certainly haven't!!! Is this normal 4 year old behaviour???

One of the older kids has said it to him 'for a laugh'.

If the school think there's something 'wrong' with your boy because if this they need to get a grip.

You don’t need to feel mortified. He’s only repeating what he’s heard. Ask him if he knows what that means and has any questions. See it as a basic biology lesson. Smile
