Why do marketplace people never reply or turn up after saying they want something

Grrrrrrr ahhhhhh it's so frustrating. Trying to sort stuff and only asking for a few pennies, have the same problem even with free stuff. I'm home most of the time apart from school runs.

Very irritating, I agree.

i was giving away a couple of nice almost brand new kitchen things. We could probably have got a reasonable sum for them but I just wanted them gone. A woman sent me 4 messages, showed loads of interest and said she'd turn up 6pm same day to collect them - didn't show but sent a message saying she'd been held up and could she come tomorrow - didn't show again so I readvertised them and then got a string of abusive messages because I'd not waited for her and she'd have been round tomorrow "for sure".

Next taker arrived and took them no problem :)

I've given up and told them it's gone and I'll take the bit to charity shop tomorrow. This was already the second non shower. I can't be waiting around the whole time. It would be nice to get a little money back, as I'm not exactly feeling rich but that is life.

I'll also be take my mums birthday present to the charity shop as I've tried to give it to her every week since her birthday and she leaves it here 😬 so she obviously doesn't like it much !
