Sense of smell

Hi, I had covid 4 months ago and my sense of smell still hasnt returned! Anyone else have the same issue? I've not been vaccinated if that makes a difference.

I know it's not an AIBU, but posting as this board is the.most active.

Have you told your GP? You might need some "smell training". You could try buying some essential oils, and trying to smell things like lemon, but maybe best to get some advice from your doctor.

Thank you! I work with essential oils as a therapist! And I can't smell a thing. I will go to the GP.

I think it was about 6 months before my sense of smell returned to normal.

My sister and her family had it last Xmas.
Her and her eldest DC still can’t smell

My DH had Covid in January and still doesn't have his sense of smell back. He will occasionally get a whiff of something but then it's gone within a matter of seconds. He did see his GP about it but to be honest they weren't much help.
